Shannon Stone — Clinical Coordinator
(Surgery Scheduling/Patient Coordination)

Shannon joined our practice in 1993. Shannon is an Arizona native and attended the University of Arizona to study athletic training. Over her many years with our practice she has served as a therapy technician, Dr. Bobb’s back office assistant and became our Clinical Coordinator in 2000. Shannon has extensive knowledge in orthopedics and hand surgery. Shannon will coordinate all aspects of your surgery. She will work with you to arrange surgical dates, times and locations. Shannon is also available to help answer any questions that you may have regarding your treatments.

Candace Hanson, MBA/HCM — Administrator

Candace joined our practice in early 2008. She comes to our practice with over 20 years of orthopedic experience here in the valley. Candace holds a Masters degree in Business Administration and Health Care Management, which complements her extensive orthopedic medical office experience. She has personal experience in front office, orthopedic billing and overall office management. Candace is a member of the American Association of Orthopedic Executives (AAOE) and the Arizona Medical Group Management Association. Candace ensures the smooth day-to-day operations at Sun Valley Hand Surgery.

Kelly, MA — Back Office Medical Assistant

Kelly is responsible for assisting in the office with patient histories, dressing and wound care, medication refills, preoperative education and assists with the coordination of surgical arrangements. She also completes disability forms, clarification of work status’s and handles the scheduling of outside tests, such as MRI’s and nerve conduction studies.

Lorraine and Dorene — Billing, Coding and Account Receivable Specialists

Lorraine and Dorene serve as your Account Representatives and will coordinate the billings for services rendered. Our billing office combines their 45+ years of medical billing with their outstanding customer service skills to assist you with any and all aspects of your account billing.

Ancillary Staff

You will interact with a number of other staff members during your visit, including front office representatives, appointment schedulers and x-ray technicians. All of our staff is dedicated to providing you with the highest level of service during your time in our offices.
